Shipping PoliciesPuppies are shipped out of McGee Tyson Airport, Knoxville. (TYS). Please review the shipping policies on pets as air cargo at the Delta Airlines web site. This will help you understand the process, and what we need to do to get the puppy to you. We make all shipping arrangements for you. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. The people at Delta Air Cargo here in Knoxville are very nice and we have shipped many puppies out of here with no problems. There are however many restrictions, including temperature. So you need to be aware that if we schedule a ship date, it may have to be cancelled due to weather. We cannot ship at all if the temperature is above 85 degrees anywhere in the flight, or below 20 degrees anywhere in the flight. We try to schedule direct flights when possible, if there is an option, your puppy will ship on a direct flight. We will not ship to any destination where the flight time exceeds 12 hours. International shipments will need to make special arrangements, but on the puppies we can usually get them in within this time frame. Payment for the puppy must be received in full prior to the puppy being shipped. Shipping charges can be paid by the owner at the time they pick up the puppy providing the puppy is shipped during a time the receiving air cargo department is open. Approximate shipping charges can be obtained from the Delta web site, and a charge estimate will be given to the owner at the time the flight reservation is made.
